Pink Bicycle Creative's Story
The Beginning
Pink Bicycle Creative was dreamed up, imagined & designed during a warm spring day in Charleston, SC. The colors & energy of the city offer a unique melting pot of art, cultural activities & history that serve as an inspiration to all artists. At its core it is a soulful, expressive mix of old & new.
The Designer
Caroline Ward is the designer, artist and creator of Pink Bicycle Creative. Her love of painting and drawing developed at a young age when her favorite art teacher informed her, "There is no wrong in art." From that day forward she gravitated towards all things art & design knowing she had the freedom to create.
Caroline went on to receive a degree in Art History at Wofford College in SC and an additional degree in Graphic Design at The Art Institute of Charleston. It was during a Graphic Symbolism class that the brand "Pink Bicycle Creative," first began. At the time, the easiest means of travel to and from classes, work and business appointments was a pink, vintage inspired bicycle, which in the end, seemed like the most perfect expression of the brand. Not only does pink bicycle operate as a means of conveyance, but the business itself strives to move design forward in a figurative sense of movement.

The Creations
Pink Bicycle Creative provides a bountiful set of design offerings. We deliver everything ranging from paper goods and mixed media collages, to large-scale paintings and greeting cards.
The design process is constantly changing and we aim to make sure we deliver what our customers want and need. Art is often an expression of who we are and what we like. Since this medium is so personal, we work directly with clients to ensure that a perfectly polished product is the end result.
The designs and work of Pink Bicycle Creative and its artists have been featured in magazines, galleries, fine paper stores, and many other fabulous locations. The graphic pieces have served as wedding invitations, save-the-dates, stationary, to name a few.
The Process
Pink Bicycle Creative offers exceptionally personal, unique pieces. We take each customer's artistic taste and needs in mind when creating a custom design or work of art.
For commissioned pieces, we can come to your home, take photos, observe the space and get a feel for the project. We offer at least 1-2 proofs or sketches of the preliminary design in order to give the customer an idea of the final outcome. It is at this time that any additions or changes can be discussed.
We feel this process is the best route to a happy customer & design team! We'd love to hear from you, so contact us today to start on a project just for you.
